Unfortunately to make a decision in a short time seems too hard. Anyway, when Sonja was giving information about each option, I found domestic violence option interesting. However I don't want to write just about domestic violence in Turkey, instead want to combine violence with stereotyped men and also how adoloscents become rude and impolite. It might be linked to the formation of teenage identity. So if I can find enough sources to link stereotyping and adolscence,I am going to write about domestic violence,in other case I am thinking to do research about honour killings, which is quite interesting and also sad. Even today we have these kinds of incidents a lot and media try to hide the news rather than report and instruct them. As a result I'll do my research paper based on option one but I haven't decided yet which one I am going to choose.
So do you mean you would like to investigate how adolescent boys become violent? I'm not quite sure how stereotyping fits into that, but you should be able to find sources on the link between male adolescence and violence - this is essentially what Tough Guise was about,for example.
